Main amp location?

Hi all,

I've heard anecdotally that the main Stereo (not sub) amp is behind the dash somewhere, to the right of the head unit. Does anyone have any details on how to access it, or take it out? I am planning a stereo upgrade and looking to put in a crossover before the amp and draw a sub input from the sum of the front and back.

Any ideas?

Pretty sure it's behind the glove box, which must be removed to access it.
