Does anybody understand the Average Electrical Energy Economy display in the DIC? I had the trip display showing in the DIC and I reset it. The miles display changed from some value to zero, as expected. But, the miles/kWh changed from some value to 4.0 . That was not expected. The car is in Park, it's not moving and it is using some energy so miles/kWh should be zero. When it is reset, I expect the value for miles/kWh to be zero or blank until the car starts moving and a calculation can be made. When I started driving and glanced at the miles/kWh display occasionally, it gradually increased. At the end of my 13.2 mile trip, during which it was 82 degrees and I was using the A/C, the value was 6.0 miles/kWh, which seems exaggerated to me. That's 202 mpg-e. I tried resetting the trip display a few times afterward and it always reset to 4.0 . As is frequently the case, the owners manual does not help. Is the Average Electrical Energy Economy display inaccurate? Does anybody know why it reads 4.0 when it is reset?
