I just bought a 2022 Bolt EUV and I think the headlights are FAIR at best..Can the bulbs be UPGRADED!? Literally my only complaint on this entire car!! It's AWESOME otherwise !! Please let me know and also I guess you can adjust the height of the lights at least from reading another online post... thanks in advance guys for more info !😊😊😊

Congrats Dan...Yes, you can upgrade the headlights on your 2022 Bolt EUV to LED or higher-quality halogen bulbs for better visibility, and you should be able to adjust the height using the screws in the engine bay. Enjoy your awesome car!

I wish they were halogen bulbs they're the factory LEDs but I noticed they are just a little high so once I start driving this car I think they'll be acceptable after I lower them down some...

Ah, gotcha! If they’re factory LEDs, adjusting the height should definitely help. Once you dial them in, they’ll probably be perfect. Let me know how it goes after you tweak them.

Do you mean that my 2017 Bolt has been operating on incandescent bulbs for the last 7 years? Because they haven't burned out, I never gave it much thought

My original Hid bulbs (2019 Bolt EV Premeir), were never very bright, and traffic-lane stripes would often be invisible at night, or in rain. These made all the difference in the world. Installation was a bit of a pain, but do it with patience, and it’s well worth it. I believe these are 22000 lumen bulbs, of pure white, not brown, or blueish in color. They light up everything you need to see. May require slight adjustment to lower the aim of the focal points, but I only had to slightly lower the drivers side light assembly.

The original 2017 Bolt uses high intensity discharge (HID) headlights. The specialized lamps have a fairly long but not infinite life. Out of curiosity I looked up the replacement lamps, and they’re about $70 US each. Ouch. Good thst they last a long time. An interesting fact is that the low / high beam is accomplished by moving a mechanical shutter out of the way for the high beam setting. If you are parked sand hit the high beam, you’ll hear an obvious “Klunk!” When the mechanism operates. It sounds like a rather loud relay operating.

You think these would fit in my 2022 EUV PREMIER?!
