GM states the Bolt will likely sell along side the Spark EV.

Does that mean they will take the Spark EV nationwide when the Bolt is available nationwide?

Also, is the price differential great enough for people to choose the 100 mile Spark EV vs the 200 mile Bolt EV?

The Spark EV was always going to be available more widespread - it's available in South Korea and some other countries already, and Chevy has said it will be available nationwide - just the initial rollout is in CARB states.
If you're skeptical of believing Chevy about that, then why believe anything about this electric vehicle 2-3 years before it's slated to arrive?

Plus, if you're promoting EVs to your buyers, why not have a cheaper/shorter range version they can compare against and buy down too if they can't/don't want to afford the Bolt EV?

Originally the Spark was going to be Nationwide but that was retracted...
Ive read a number of Bolt articles but did not see where they stated the Spark will live on alongside the Bolt...

"GM's official stance is that the electric car remains a West Coast deal"

It would be nice if they threw some gen 2 batteries in it and sent it off nationwide...

Thanks for finding that - that's too bad.

I wonder if, in the Bolt release when GM said "designed for attainability, not exclusivity" if they were implying the cost and jabbing at Tesla, or if they meant it as for physical availability like all at all the Volt dealerships (nationwide) or just the Spark EV dealerships in the CARB states (on the West Coast)
