Are they ordering plates for it?I have a Bolt on order, it has been produced and just waiting on delivery. Sales sent me the vin, is there anything I can/should do with the vin ahead of time? I used it to get an insurance quote anything else??
All I have ever needed in the last 7 years for charging at home is a 120 volt 20 amp wall outlet. It gives me 50 miles of range on my Chevy Bolt and 40 miles of range on my Toyota bznHi kentever1,
This isn't related to your VIN but ..
You may want to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet at your home .. ie: a 40A, 220V circuit for the 7.2kW EVSE charger that comes with your new Bolt EV .. or a bigger 60A, 220V dedicated circuit and a 11kW wall mounted maxed out home charger.
I don't know if this perk is still available from Chevrolet but it explains what you'll need:

(I had my home charger installed before my first pre-ordered EV arrived)
