Can this be turned off with a Tech2? Has anyone done it yet?

That setting could be out of reach if Chevy is using it as another way to protect the battery. Although changing it might be nice for a track day. I read somewhere that Chevrolet has tested at the rated top speed and got 170 miles of range. It's also possible that other parts of the LG drive train are only designed for the rated speed, so..........

It's more likely there to protect the motor from tearing itself apart as it goes above 10,000 RPM or so...
