I replaced the 12v battery on my 2022 EUV LT, after it freaked out after a night on 23°F night. Battery check showed 5v. I pulled the negative for 1/2 hr. No joy.

Now the service soon light (yellow car w exclamation) stays Chevy App shows green on all diagnostics. No noticable performance issues.

Is this normal, and eventually goes away on its own?
Do I have to have it serviced, soonest appointment is two weeks out.

I expect it will go away soon. I think it is caused by getting an intermittent connection when reattaching the last connection to the battery (which should always be the negative). It needs to be firmly and quickly reattached but the sight of sparks and the sounds of clicking relays will make you flinch and fumble the job the first time you do it. That's what happened to me and I got the "check vehicle soon" symbol on the instrument panel. But the car functioned normally except that it requested me to roll the driver window down and then up. I did that but the symbol remained for 3 or 4 trips and then went out.
