Hello all !
I love my Bolt EV. I will do a review soon... :D

Today, my 4 year's old son had problems buckling up. The seat belt seems to have been twisted, and now it will not retract or extend. :x

When I put my fingers near where the belt is going inside, you can feel the twist, but can barely see it.
I have tried untwisting in either directions, but the belt wont move.

Besides going to dealer, is there a quick fix I can try ? Is there a magic release button hidden somewhere ?

Fred and its first post.
Thanks in advance for advices !
I will probably go to dealership tomorrow if nothing works.

Thanks for the tip ! Unfortunately, it did not work. Guess dealer will have to fix this ! :)

Finally, with the proper tools, its quite easy to remove the upper side panel to access seat belt pulley. :)

There is one Torx screw and 3 metal clips.
To pop them, you just have to insert your fingers under the rubber and pull.
The force required in surprisingly high, but no harm to plastic tabs was done. ;)

Once the panel is removed, I had enough space to wiggle back and forth the seat belt until it came back to its original position.
Lowering the seats helps see the seat belt mechanism too.

Ye ! Back to 100% Love mode with this car now !

Thanks for the moral and technical support !
