My 2017 Chevy Bolt has 94,000 miles. The 2 little plastic knobs hold the strings that support the privacy cover. That cover weighs very little, so there is not much pull on them. Nonetheless, both plastic knobs have been damaged and I am worried that they may just fall out some day. The bottom cleat-hooks love to fall out, but I solved that pretty well by wrapping a small rubber band around the inner part.
I am curious whether any of you have encountered this problem and whether you have found a solution. Also, if you have fixed this problem yourself, what glue/adhesive did you use to secure it? I could use some construction adhesive or some other goo to squeeze in there, wipe clean around the base, and let it dry.
thanks for your help.
