Second paragraph of this article states that the "Premier" pricing will start at $41,780.

the manager/order placement gentleman agreed . Even if the dealership wanted to tac-on a reasonable finders fee i would still buy it. This will probably be my last car, and i don't want to wait another 6 months to get one.
I believe we've all seen this article, and others that cite a price tag for the Premier trim level, but the point here is this number does not come from Chevy. It's probably close, but the only number they've released officially so far is the "come on" price for the base model. No numbers for anything else, including the option packages. Those, as well as added charges for some of the paint colors, could easily add another five grand onto the sticker.
Not sure what you mean by a "finders fee" but I suppose you mean dealer markup. I haven't been an EV buyer until now, but I'm pretty sure from the discussion I'm seeing here that dealers haven't been able to mark up EVs and are discounting them for the most part. For myself, I'd be willing to make a deposit so long as it was completely refundable, based either on what they found for me or the price. Either way, I'd want some sort of commitment from them on the latter before giving them a check. But that's just me.
Anyway, since you are working with a dealer on a Bolt, maybe you will find out about complete pricing sooner than the rest of us, and will pass that along. As I've mentioned in other threads, my local dealership has gone completely silent on me. After calling and emailing me a few weeks back when I expressed an interest, telling me they were getting ready to order the cars, they have communicated nothing further and in fact failed to reply to my last email.
