Recently everytime I open the door first thing in the morning I get a series of quick tapping sounds. Sometimes up to 70 of them but mostly around 30. Then, after I have been using the car I sometimes get a few of the taps when I open the door or the trunk.
Anyone have a clue about why this is happening? Could it be because of the new battery? It didn't start right after I got it though. It's annoying but this is still the best car I've ever owned in my 77 years. I had the egolf before but the range, or lack thereof, was a bummer.
