Back on the question of 100% versus something less. I have had my Bolt for two years and always use HTR except when I am leaving the next day for a long trip. Yesterday I was in MD and did a 100% charge in the early afternoon so I could get home. As I was pulling out from the hotel something happened that has never happened before, the battery climate control came on. It ran furiously (using 7 Kw) while at the stop light. It was 91 degrees at the time. I have been in much hotter weather and never had battery climate control come on. That tells me at 100%, the battery temp must be more critical then at something less then 90%.
