Finding a Knowledgeable Dealer

How do you find a dealer who knows the car? My service tech had to sit in the car with me and read the manual to figure out how to dim the console, and told me I couldn't sync my iPhone (finally got CarPlay to work on my own after multiple searches online to find the settings on the car and on the phone). I am not thrilled about taking the car there when it needs service.

I think it is luck and experience, experience = sales volume, and the Bolt is a low volume vehicle. When GM launched the Volt they had a "red carpet" service center that coordinated all issues to make sure the lack of field experience with the PHEV did not negatively impact the customer experience. I am not sure what they put in place for the Bolt. Luckily most questions can be answered by searching this forum, and the Bolt has been extremely reliable.
