I just installed a JuiceBox 40 in my garage so I should be good to go, at home at least.

Great - you'll love it. Be sure to check your electric rates as now you may qualify for a different rate plan. :)

I will check with SCE. My electrician warned me they are raising rates at the first of the year and doing away with TOU plans. Need to verify all of that.

Some older TOU plans are going away, but the general trend will be that all electricity customers in California will be on some sort of TOU plan in the next 8 or so years. I believe that SCE has at least a couple of EV TOU plans.

I mooched my first juice this evening, about an hour's worth from a complementary L2 charger at a Whole Foods. First thing I noticed is the person who used it before me left the cable on the pavement. I coiled it back onto stand when I was done. Seemed like the least I could do. Anyway, I will have to carry a pair of lightweight work gloves in the car. I guess that's why they have glove compartments!
