If GM has chosen that UN regulation 13-H as the one to meet for Bolt EV stop lamp activation. Evidence of it’s implementation on Bolt EV has yet to be proven. For example mine doesn’t appear to meet the deceleration stop lamp activation threshold requirement of 1.3 m/sec².TheCyberKnight said:You may want to have a look at this international regulation, specifically section 5.2.22.4.
One may think that GM, like other car makers, are aware and/or follow these requirements.

Subject to debate. FMVSS (United States) 135 and 108 appear to allow the illumination of stop lamps, on EV’s with blended braking systems, when vehicle is held stationary in a stopped position. IMO, GM could have done this for Bolt EV sold in North America.
