BC Fast Charging opens to the Kootenays

Golden coming soon. If we can get level 3s in Kamloops and Hope we can travel east west on 80 percent charges. All of these 50 kw fast chargers reduce charge to about 17 kw once it reaches 80 percent. These two chargers would make it unnecessary to keep charging another hour to get from 80% to 100%. Right now you would have to go 100% three times to make the same trip. (Chilliwack, West Kelowna, Revelstoke)

This is great news, and when the network is completed it'll really open up a lot of new road trip options in BC and provide access to the Rockies as well.

Yep. Nacusp, Radium, the Arrow Lakes become inviting. I was thinking about that tonight. I was also looking at PlugShare and there are now level 3’s in Calgary. That along with soon to be level 3s in Red Deer and Edmonton at Canadian Tires we have an extension of the 80% charge hwy well into Alberta. This is looking sweet!
