8 foot lumber in the Bolt

Well, here are 4 pieces of 8 foot lumber inside my Bolt.

Looks to me like the guy hoping to get a 10ft Kayak into a Bolt will be screwed...

Does he need to fit it inside the Bolt? Just get a roof rack. Anyone I know just straps their gear to the roof!

Yeah the have the video of the surfboard on the top of the bolt. They got the bars that attach to the rails from yakama(sp?)

Oh, yes. The lift gate closed, and nothing was touching the dash or the lift gate plastic. I padded with the bags as seen in the photo. But, all was completely within the car.

I've done that in my Prius C. I'd be surprised if most small hatchbacks weren't capable of this.
