You can get bonded plug adapters. RV folks use them all the time. I have one for my road trips because some camp grounds are set up to look like generator power
 
Hi Folks, I hope everyone had a great relaxing holiday time. Today I had a chance to try out the shorter 25 ft 10/3 extension cord. No luck. The furnace still will have burner ignition and then shut down burning in just a few seconds.

Summit, when you suggest testing the continuity of the EV-Extender neutral and ground, I can see the ground post but I don't know how to find the neutral post and if there is not continuity how do I bond it?

So Mike do I plug the bonded plug adapter into any one of the three outlets on the inverter and then plug my 10/3 or 12/3 extension cord into the adapter? I am trying not to get too far in over my head on this.
 
Charger to wall jack or in this case, extension cord. It bonds neutral to ground. I bought a fancy one that is a direct plug in cord for my Tesla mobile charger. This is where everyone goes “ahhhhhhhhh” ;)
 
The US standard plug is 120vac between (Neutral & Hot) and (Ground & Hot). Ground bonding check is 0v between Neutral & Ground, and 0-very low resistance between Neutral & Ground. A "bonding plug" is essentially a short between Neutral & Ground, though some has a 100-ohm resistor.
