I found this on the Gm-Volt site and pasted it for enjoyment. The next paragraph is also pasted and not written by me.

"I always welcome our friends and visitors to freely plug-in to our EVSE at home during off-peak hours, which is mostly during the weekends and holidays when they come for a visit. But some people that charges without asking permission are giving a bad rap to Tesla. Don't be like this Tesla owner! Fortunately for him, the homeowner is like a saint who wouldn't bother to file charges of trespassing and theft of electricity."

We tend to make the mistake of judging people by the cars they drive. Wish that would stop. It's a safe bet there are a few assholes taking the bus too.

It's pure audacity to charge without permission, like that Tesla owner! Such behavior damages the reputation of all EV owners. They're lucky the homeowner was patient and didn’t file a report for electricity theft. They’d be in big trouble otherwise.
