Replacement Body Part Availability

My 2017 Bolt was sandwiched on the interstate Feb 1. It was not totaled but the front and back had major damage. Now more than 2 months later the body shop is saying they are still missing a part, the back bumper. They tell me it comes from Korea and has been in back order. Anyone else have problems finding parts? They say it is indicative of new cars in general and that they have had similar issues with other manufacturers, notable Ford.
