rear camera shows part of back bumper of 2019 bolt car

When I put my 2019 Bolt (one week old) in reverse gear , part of the car is seen on the screen.
I did not notice that in my leased 2017 Bolt. I thought the entire screen was used to show the view behind the car.

Is that expected ? or is my rear camera misaligned or is there a software issue.

I took it to my dealership and they said that it is expected behavior.....

Mine does too.
I'm fine with it. I think it gives it depth and perspective and a feeling of place rather than just a rear view.
What I _would_ want is for the image to be full screen.

On my 2017 Bolt when I go into reverse I can see the bumper at the very bottom of the screen. I like it because when I'm backing into a parallel parking space it gives me a perfect view of exactly how close my bumper is to the car behind me.
