Heated Seat Cushion OK For Power Point Use?

I am a prospective buyer of a new 2017 Bolt LT that does not have heated seats. The dealership salesman suggested an aftermarket retrofit or a heated seat cushion that plugs into the 12v power point. I am leery of aftermarket retrofits, but would consider using a heated seat cushion as needed in the winter months. Would this usage cause any issues or concerns like excessive 12v battery drain, etc.?

I have used them in the past and they work fine with NO noticeable power drain.

Heated seats, whether built-in or aftermarket, take very little power compared to that which is required to move the car. You're not likely to see very much of a difference through using them. The reduced capacity of the battery in cold weather will be a significantly bigger factor, and even that is dwarfed by use of the HVAC heater.
