Forward Collision Mitigation Glitch?

Hi,
I had a minor accident with my 2022 Bolt EUV recently. I was just cruising through the city when the car in front of me slammed on the brakes and I missed to see that. I hit mine hard, but still bumped into the back of it!
Honestly, I'm kinda shocked that the forward collision mitigation didn’t kick in sooner. Has anyone else dealt with this or know if there’s something funky going on with my car’s safety features?

Yes, it should have gone on and warned you sooner. The question is are you sure you have it enabled?

Oh no, that’s rough! are you totally sure you’ve got AEB and IBA switched on? you can double-check that in the Collision/Detection Systems section under vehicle personalization

Yeah, that’s the first thing I checked, and you won’t believe it, it was totaly enabled
