Dimensions for the Hatch Opening
I want to put a dog crate through the hatch opening and I need to know the specific dimensions in inches.

I did some manual measurements from the lower section (the area of the floor without the raised cargo option) of 39" x 22". The actual size is a bit different but this is in relation to putting a box in there. These dimensions are the largest usable rectangle inside that storage space due to a few bumps and other outcroppings that get in the way.

And this shouldn't be posted in this forum I believe, this was to ask issues from GM Care. This might be moved to another section...

To get my fabric dog crate in the trunk without laying the seat backs forward I had to remove the false floor.
