Many people want to keep the original EVSE in their garage and have a second one they keep in the car so that they can charge away from home from a standard outlet should they need to.

Hi besmir,

We do not recommend using any adapters or extension cords when charging. This would apply to plugging the 120v travel cord set into a 240v outlet, or using adapters that change the style of plugs on the cord set. I hope this helps!
