You might want to see what the dealer recommends because in the owners manual, this is written...
"Do not use tire chains. There is not enough clearance. Tire chains used on a vehicle without the proper amount of clearance can cause damage to the brakes, suspension, or other vehicle parts. The area damaged by the tire chains could cause loss of control and a crash.Use another type of traction device only if its manufacturer recommends it for the vehicle's tire size combination and road conditions. Follow that manufacturer's instructions. To avoid vehicle damage, drive slow and readjust or remove the traction device if it contacts the vehicle. Do not spin the wheels.If traction devices are used, install them on the front tires."

Might be a good idea on the Auto Sock.

215-50-17 tires = #AS645 auto sock.

BUT....
One of the Worst Review on Amazon was...."These were a total waste of money. I got them since my Chevy Volt said I couldn't use chains. Here is what was good: 1) easy to put on. Here is what was bad: 1) they had less traction on the snow than my stock tires. It was like putting a strip of smooth carpet around my tire; 2) they not to leave the Autosocks on if the car is outside - meaning you have to remove them if you park the car. If you leave them on, they become ice blocks around your tires; 3) They are really hard to take off, so putting them on and off every time you park the car is highly cumbersome, 4) I used these once, and drove about 1/4 mile on show-covered roads. When I went to take them off, they were torn on the seam on one tire. The durabilty is spotty."
