Just had a thought, maybe the MSRP $37,500 will be for the premier trim level and the LT trim will be even cheaper?! :)

GM builds cars for retail sale based on orders from dealerships. Typically there's a 4-6 week cycle between order and production, and I can't imagine they'll start retail production without orders in hand. That means that GM will need to release dealer ordering information, option RPOs, MSRP...

Of course now I can't find where that reference to European limits was from.... Good point about sales expectations vs actual production limits, although I don't think it was really hinted either direction clearly?

The Ampera-E/Bolt will be a big competitor in Europe to the LEAF the same as in USA. But, GM has said they will limit production to 7000 to 8000 units for Europe each year. That might make the Ampera-E look like a failure, even if there is more demand for it!

I read about the effort GM is putting into testing the Bolt EV before it hits full production and release to the public - if only GM had put the same effort into the CCS charging infrastructure as well!

The director of marketing is on record saying that once they get enough inventory, the Bolt will be available nationwide. Does this mean they're planning a staged rollout to CARB states first, or is it more that depending on supply/demand, it won't necessarily be in every dealership nation wide...

I don't even know if you can buy a vehicle with manual windows anymore? When I went with to look at a Honda Civic for my niece they didn't have manual windows.... so my guess would be of course! Power windows on the Bolt for sure

And then there's the whole charging discussion - now I see EVSE manufacturers starting to quote the Range-per-hour (RPH) capabilities of their X amp chargers.
