Charge port locking settings?

How does one control the charge port locking mechanism on the Bolt, so I can lock in the J1772 charger handle, so it can't be removed? (Mostly for when I use my portable charger.) I see the little chrome lock above the port, and have even seen it lock, but do not see any settings for it on the Bolt settings screens. Thank you!

Nice observation.

I think that lock is only active when attached to a DC fast charger.

But since it is software activated, it sure would be nice to be able to use it when on 240 v or 120 v charging.

As far as I know, there is no owner control of that.

I loop my portable charger cord through the steering wheel and open the window slightly to allow it enough room gain access and of course lock the vehicle.
