I read that a lot...just rent a vehicle for long trips. That might work for a weekend, but not when we leave our vehicle in Arizona for months at a time...which also reminds me that our garage can easily hit 120F too. Not exactly the best environment for EV batteries.Anyway, the Bolt does address more of an EV's compromises but not all of them. For most, the advantages still don't overcome the drawbacks as people typically want to buy one car that does it all, not just 95% of the time.
