Just picked up brand new bolt 30 miles later car whould not go into reverse then trans service light came on let it sit not it works but service light still on has any buddy had this problem
There is no transmission, per se, on the Bolt EV, and no reverse gear. It goes backward by spinning the motor the opposite way - so this problem is probably either a software problem, or the switch in the "shifter" is faulty.
