Chevy Bolt pre-production already started!! Pictures from GM's Orion Plant

I came across this article on Mashable - turns out GM is running testing on it's assembly plant line getting ready to start cranking out the Bolt EV in large numbers!

Chevrolet Bolt EV engineers - along with assembly plant workers - began finalizing testing of assembly plant tools and processes at GM’s Orion Township, Michigan, production facility this week. This signals the final phase in preparation for the start of Bolt production, which will commence at the end of 2016

Found some more picture of the GM Bolt EV on the assembly line:

The Bolt EV is being assembled at the General Motors Orion Assembly Plant in Township, Michigan.

When it goes on sale later this year, the Chevrolet Bolt will cost under $30,000 after the IRS EV tax credit

I really like the look of the Bolt, of course, that's from an owner of a Smart ED, another "tall and short" vehicle design.
