Anyone else have an issue with their AC system not cooling due to freon leaking and making noise?
I took my 2017 Bolt to the dealer three times for this issue; the AC unit would not cool and make hissing noises when trying to cool the car (usually set to 73 degrees or lower).
They couldn't figure it out, replaced the compressor unit, then realized it was a leaking hose. But now can't replace the hose because of the UAW strike. I know it's October but it's still warm in SoCal (mid 80s).
I'm trying to find the part number and have the dealers source it from another dealership but haven't been able to get them to respond.
Just curious if anyone else has this issue.
