Just hung up with service manager from local shop. He said that they plug in the vin number and if it’s says there’s an update they do it. No over riding or way around it. Sounds like GM has something broke.

I should have said plate holder. Plates too a few weeks getting to me.

I told the sales man 3 or 4 time not to install front plate. They did it. Said it was a mix up. Then I posted on forums and everyone's like it's California and it's the law. Right. I have not had front plates in 40 years and had 2 fix it tickets.

Had same problem. Took to other dealer to redo and filed a complaint with Chevy. The complaint Dept people seemed like idiots too.

That's BS. If windows, apple or others have updates you just get it. Seems like a few of the Chevy dealers suck.

I had mine done and everything was still there. A friend of mine got update and his was wiped clean. So I'm not sure.

I don't get it. I told the dealership I needed the infotainment update and they did some updates but when I got home 14.1.0 was not on the car. Can't they search and find updates like 14.1.0? The dealer told me to take it back for diagnostics to see what needs to be done. Maybe Chevy pays them...

Took my bolt in on Saturday to get update. When I got home I checked to see what version I had and it had not been updated. Call them and they said they did all that were available. Not sure they know what they are doing.

I use the myChevrolet app on iOS and have no problem pre heating my car from a distance. I've done it from a couple blocks away.
