    Climate Control problems

    Could it be battery conditioning?

    Bolt as a wifi-only device

Some have speculated that the car turns off if it doesn't sense anyone sitting in the seats, and that perhaps a heavy weight in the driver's seat would prevent shut down, but I think I have been sitting in the seat when it shut down before. PS you stole my nickname for my car. Very clever.

Winter, hilltop reserve, and battery conditioning

This won't really be helpful in general, but since I drive about the same amount of miles every day that I can get from L1 charging overnight, leaving the car on the charger all the time starting with ~50% SOC achieves the goals you stated.

Parking Brake/E-Brake turned on momentarily when ambulance passed

Speaking of parking, if you press the park button and you haven't had your foot on the brake for "long enough" it will throw on the brake as well

    From 0 to 327

The more I think about this, the more I think it's not right. I turn my car on and off when charging sometimes to see the charge rate indicated on the cluster. I did it the other day to run the rear washer. I've never encountered this issue. Is it really in the manual?

    Yes you can.

Parking Brake/E-Brake turned on momentarily when ambulance passed

If you are stopped on a hill (even if it's not much of a hill) in L and forget to put your foot on the brake, the e-brake comes on

has anyone found success with TOU (time-of-use) rates at home?

I agree with this. My commute is 95 mi/day and I do fine on 120 V. I usually make up almost exactly what I lost, and that's with 8hrs of work and 3-4 hours of commute.

    Software glitch when on DCFC

I have also had this happen one time. I don't recall leaving the car on that time, but it's possible, and I had assumed that's what happened. In my case, the recent history bar rolled over 252 mi/kwh and went to zero, as I've described in another thread. I recently did a 30 min fast charge...

2017 Nissan Leaf Hits Back At Chevrolet Bolt

I don't get why they are still pushing chademo when Nissan is really the only Japanese company making decent electric cars. If Toyota was interested in making EVs that needed DCFC, maybe there would be some weight. And Nissan is actually French anyway, so they should be on the CCS standard. I...

    Curious behavoir in L mode

That makes a lot of sense

    Curious behavoir in L mode

I agree that it's not really a big deal, but it can be surprising if you forget to put on the belt when you start.

    Curious behavoir in L mode

I'm wondering if it's just my car. Try this. Start the car on flat ground with the driver's seatbelt unbuckled. Release the parking brake and put the car in L. The car will start to move, unlike in normal driving conditions. You can accelerate a bit and let off the pedal and the car will slow...

    Range with A/C

It seems like when you turn the AC on or off, the range estimate decreases/increases by a different amount depending on the state of charge. Usually it is 12% but when the battery is lower, it can be 8%. Also, it always seems to proceed in two stages: first immediately dropping by half of the...

    Time of Use Plans

TOU plans are also less useful if you don't charge every day (night), which I think may be the case for many people who don't drive that far every day.

    Charge incomplete

Assuming the battery is fully charged... The predicted range is based on your past driving efficiency history, so it will never be above 238 unless you drive at 4 mi/kWh average. It also doesn't make any difference what charge level you use.

    Battery cooling and AC question

When the battery is being cooled and the AC is off, the HVAC system blows cold. Is this "free" AC or is it significantly reducing the efficacy of the battery cooling?

Erroneous Average (simple math) in Efficiency History

I may have a small insight into this question. I did a fast charge for about 1 hour after I got my battery down to maybe around 20-25%. After that I drove home from the fast charge station (about 1-2 miles) and did a slow charge with the stock EVSE for a long time, like 12 hours or more. The...

    Charger problem with new outlet

I'm pleased to report no further incidents after about a week of plugging in up to multiple times every day.
