    Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe in our Bolt

    "Downhill" is true. On my yearly trip from San Diego to Mammoth, my 2012 Prius V gets 50mpg on the return trip vs 42 "uphill". Haven't tried my 2021 Bolt but it's not big enouth for ski gear. It's strictly a grovery getter but I drive it 99% of the time. The V rots in the garage until Mammoth again.
