    Front parking camera stays on

No need to hurry down the dealer for the update. I've had the new software for a little over a week, and today had the parking camera display remain on screen up to 70mph. So the update does not fix this problem. As far as I can see, it does not fix anything, and provides no improvement at...

    Volt for Bolt

Yes, the 1912 Volts were nice, but I'd have gone with this model instead: http://owlshead.org/collections/detail/1912-woods-electric-brougham Sweet ride, and it had nearly 3 times the electric range of the early Volt. Not much pickup, but with the traffic on the I-5 these days...

Is HVAC burning you up too? Chevy says "nothing wrong"

Not for me. Anything higher than speed setting 1 or 2 is noisy and uncomfortable.

    March Infotainment update

Do some of them not suck? The Bolt is my first GM car. I assumed all Chevy dealers are like mine. :?:

    Front parking camera stays on

Yes, that's how I 'fixed' it too. I did not try rebooting - I think you have to hold down Home and Forward Seek at the same time, or some such - but it seems like that probably would have worked also. I have not had this issue since updating the software, though I have still had other glitches.

    March Infotainment update

That's great, but my dealer flatly refuses to perform any such updates, unless I can report a specific, relevant problem that could be addressed by the update. Can you tell us what issues are caused by the out-of-date control modules?

Is HVAC burning you up too? Chevy says "nothing wrong"

I noticed the drunken thermostat as soon as I got my Bolt, in the winter. I needed to set the temp to ~76 or higher to get any heat at all, at first. But after a few minutes, without changing the temp setting, temperature would climb steadily up. So, to compensate, I needed to turn the temp...

    Android Auto Volume Very High

You use the Bolt radio's volume knob to adjust AA volume. I believe you have to do it while AA is making a sound, e.g. if you're using AA navigation, you have to wait till it speaks a direction and turn the volume knob down before the AA voice stops talking.

    Infotainment current version

I don't know why Amber would be describing an update process that does not exist, but is planned for some unspecified future date. What previous posters were asking is how are we supposed to find out right now when an update is available. Failing to address the immediate question while talking...

    Infotainment current version

It has now become clear that we have been given false information here. Specifically, 2. The customer-accessible "Check for Updates" feature DOES NOT WORK in tandem with OTA to alert an owner to available updates. Several Bolt owners have reported getting an update to v14.1.0, and one has...

My Estimated 150 Mile Driving Report

The Bolt's tiny footprint is also helpful in filling those holes fast. The Tesla is supposed to be quicker, but also a couple of feet longer and a half-foot wider than the Bolt.

BOLT DEAD - REPLACING BATTERY...They should REPLACE THE CAR!

You are confusing "new" with "perfect". What you got was both a new car AND a car that requires major service. I too got the cryptic Onstar text, and the 'conditions incorrect for shifting' message. Had to get a tow to the dealer. It took a week and a lot of follow up to finally get a...

    Battery Management

I don't think that assumption is right. My Bolt always charges to 87% on the hill top setting, including immediately following a 100% charge. There is no indication in the Bolt Owner's Manual that the hill top charge should be 90%.

    Driving in 'L' mode

Thanks Lauren. Although the answer is a little disappointing, I really appreciate your looking into it and providing the answer. I think it's confusing for customers to have brake lights controlled automatically based on an obscure, unreported parameter like acceleration measured in g! If...

Honda Fuel Cell Clarity....Can't even give me one!

Just so. My average and usual daily mileage is 100, so an electric Ioniq, just for example, would cover that just fine. But there are probably 20 days per year that I need to drive farther than that. I am not willing to rent or borrow a car that often. In the Bolt, I might need a gas car...

myChevrolet app vehicle status does not update

What makes you think it is not updating tire pressure? Tire pressure is updated for me every time a refresh succeeds.

Anyone else played video on their infotainment screen?

Have you confirmed that 720p (or 720i?) is the only resolution that works? That must have required a lot of trial and error to confirm!

myChevrolet app vehicle status does not update

Yes, pull-to-refresh works on both screens. But only sometimes. The app is buggy.

    Range Issues?

Not I. I drive much faster, and count on at least 200 miles per charge. I'm in California. As others have suggested, cold weather can reduce range a lot.

    Driving in 'L' mode

I did not say the paddle is the best solution for the hypermilers, I said it's the one Chevy provided. I agree that a neutral coast option would be better.
