Thanks for the link. It looks like 2.6% of all cars sold in the US were EV's (Sept data)

The Bolt has an auto defog system. It's set to "on" at the factory but can be turned off in the climate settings.
Here's another recent thread on the subject:

^^^^^This^^^^^ It drove me nuts until I figured it out. Also, on a cold but sunny day, the cabin will warm up due to solar heating. Then the A/C comes on....Anybody know how to stop that from happening automatically?
AFAIK, all new EV's come with a L1 EVSE. It's part of the car, like a tire jack and spare tire used to be. If I bought a used EV, I would expect it to be there or require the dealer to supply it at no extra charge.
It's permanent once set (of course you can manually change it). For sure it applies to all AC charging, not sure about DCFC but it should apply there as well.
WeberAuto on YouTube has posted a lot of videos showing (and disassembling) the components of the Bolt. Here's one that my help with coolant loops, but you can search for others.

Yeah, since the car is under the normal warranty, it can be serviced at any Chevy dealer. I have read a few reports that some dealers don't sell or service Bolts, but those are the exception.
Sounds like Eric may have contacted GM about this. You can email him and ask what he found out. Check the "about" section of his YouTube channel for his contact info.
Let us know what you find out.
It's a known issue. The high power EVSE's (aka "chargers") are heavy due to insulation and built in cooling to handle all the power and heat generated by that power. Since they are heavy they don't lock well when connecting to your car. EA is aware of this and, I think, is redesigning the...
I saw this one, maybe in this thread or another similar thread. Anyway, I bought it. Seems to work ok but I think you need to keep tabs on it to know when it's going down...
There's a section in the owner's manual that tells you how to do it. Also several posts on various forums about this.
IIRC, you can leave the A/C on for about 20 minutes. But...if someone walks by, how do they know? Maybe they would call the police or break your window to "save" your dog.
I don't know how common it is, but I've seen many pictures on other Bolt forums of exactly what you describe. In my experience, it depends on outside temperature (warm is better), your driving style (slower is better) and how much you use heat or A/C (none is better). I've gotten 5.1-5.2...
