I understand. There is a process...but it takes little to no effort to also make a record of it online and in social media. I'm not saying don't go to the dealer and complain. I'm saying it usually is pointless and ends in a lot of time wasted and effort.

Social media is far more effective than any of those steps these days. Bad PR is far more effective in mobilizing action than any complaint filed at a dealership or even at GM. Signed petitions online or a list of owners who have complaints that can then be published or put online will catch...

No Oiler that's where I disagree about the Spark's performance....it has utterly lousy off-the-line performance and I have a very decent set of rubber on it now as I changed out the front tires some time back. This thing has incredible mid-range and definitely does not run out of steam at 40...

Well it's not just torque...it's also what I've experienced performance-wise. Like I said, on paper it's a different story...in real life I've experienced differently. But I agree with you about the i3's inherent advantages.

According to acceleration tests the Bolt is as quick if not quicker than the i3...which is confusing as it doesn't "seem" as quick as a Spark EV.

I have a 2014 Spark EV as well and regen would not work if the battery was full I coasting downhill. Also, what do you think is quicker? The Bolt or the Spark EV? That thing is quick I must say but I've not really pushed a Bolt to know the comparison.

Actually it is the case. I'm talking about professional reviewers and actually journalist reviews...not bloggers and owners. I understand the difference between a blogger, an unknown reviewer, and someone who is a professional who's job it is to review cars. Not a single professional review...

It's interest I've seen numerous Bolt reviews from journalists everywhere and not a single one I've come across has complained about the seats. Journalists are notorious for tearing cars apart and nitpicking more than most owners do.

This is an area where people can simply check in and post their seat issue / non issue. Simple, fast, and something that can be tracked. If this problem is to be resolved, it needs to be documented properly and consistently. Things to list: 1. Model 2. When bought 3. Last 5 of your VIN (if...
